Why can't the USA be like Europe?

So anyone that knows me, knows that I love to climb and I love college. I mean over in the Netherlands they have dorms with the side of walls covered in bolts and climbing holds. To outfit something like this in the United States would be super cheap for what you are going to get. Many people who love to climb over in the Netherlands would choose this college over another one that is similar because of this awesome idea. I mean, just saying I would be super psyched if Hunt hall here in La Grande had climbing holds up the side of it with bolts at the top. Why can't the US be more like europe sometimes..... Except for French stinky cheese.... They can keep that.
